A defining moment came in 1998 at Johnson & Johnson’s European R&D center in France. The ROC laboratory—a complex symphony of perfumes, emollients and active ingredients— proved to be an unforgettable sensory experience. This visceral connection to the creation process ignited a passion that would drive his subsequent accomplishments, solidifying his trajectory in the industry.

Epigeneva’s research is focused on Ribonucleic acid (RNA). Rio noted RNA has hybrid properties: catalytic and genetic coding. Discovered in the 1990s, micro-RNA influences genetic expression, depending on lifestyle and environment, playing a role in skin aging or protection. Epigeneva’s formulas feature its unique Vitality and Regeneration Complexes.
